Project C05 of the CRC Home(s): Phenomena, Practices, Representations has one vacancy to be covered as soon as possible:
Student Research Assistant (f/m/d) with B.A. degree
initially 10 hrs. per month, for 6 months (extension possible for duration)
The project explores the moral topographies of home and belonging in contemporary American literature. It is conducted by Prof. Dr. Günter Leypoldt, Professor of American Literature and Culture, with joint appointments at the English Department and the Heidelberg Center for American Studies, together with postdoctoral researcher Valentina López Liendo, M.A.
We seek a student assistant for the following tasks:
Your tasks:
- Literature search and review
- Support with the scientific writing and research process
- Support with event planning and organization
Your profile:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree
- You are enrolled as a student at Heidelberg University
- You are proficient in English (written and oral)
- You have prior experience with reference‑management software such as Zotero, or a strong interest in acquiring these skills.
